Color by Project

The Color by Project feature allows users to assign different colors to tabs based on their respective projects, improving visual organization and clarity.

How to Enable

  1. Open Smart Tab View.

  2. Activate the Color by Project option.

  3. Click Save to apply the changes.

Each configuration supports up to 8 distinct colors. If the number of projects exceeds 8, the colors will repeat from the beginning.

Color Placement

Determine where the project color will be applied:

  • Background

  • Border - All

  • Border - Top

  • Border - Left

  • Border - Right

  • Border - Bottom

When using a Border setting, the background color defaults to Revit’s standard background.

Border Width

  • This option is available only for Border settings.

  • Choose a border thickness between 1 and 5 pixels.

  • Not applicable when Background is selected.

Project Color

  • Select colors from the preset palette.

  • Supports both light and dark modes.

  • Font color adjusts automatically to ensure readability based on the background color.
