The Add From Clipboard interface allows users to quickly import data stored in the clipboard and configure it for integration into Revit. This tool provides a simple workflow for inserting data directly into your project without needing an Excel file.
The interface automatically displays the content currently stored in the clipboard within the Preview Panel.
Use the Change Clip button at the top of the interface to refresh the preview with new data if the clipboard content has been updated.
The Preview Panel displays a live preview of the clipboard content, allowing users to verify the data before creating a view in Revit. This ensures that the table format and content meet project requirements.
Customize how the imported data will appear in Revit:
View Name: Specify the name of the Revit view where the clipboard data will be displayed.
View Type: Choose from Legend, Schedule, or Drafting View to determine how the data integrates into your project.
View Scale: Define the scale for the view to align with your project's specifications.
Font: Select the font style for the table:
Use Revit’s font library.
Or retain the font style applied to the clipboard data (from Excel).
OK: Confirms the configuration and creates the entry in the main interface.
Cancel: Discards any changes and closes the window.
