Select elements

Easily specify the beams to be adjusted and the slabs to attach them.

Supported Categories

• Beams:

  • Structural Framing (Excludes Structural Beam Systems)

• Slabs:

  • Floor

  • Structural Foundations: Slab

Element Selection

• Pre-Selection: If you select elements before running Beam to Slab, only those categorized under the supported elements are automatically assigned.

• Selecting Elements in the Tool: Launch Beam to Slab without pre-selecting elements to use the Select Elements (Slabs/Beams) button within the add-in.

  • This activates multi-select mode in the current view, where you can choose the elements to include.

  • Click Finish to complete the selection.

• Overview of Selected Elements:

  • The selected elements are automatically sorted and counted by category as beams and slabs, allowing you to review the total number of each type before proceeding.
